Modena, Ghirlandina Tower, Torresani Hall: the "Capital of the Judge" or "of the Upright Judge and of the Corrupt Judge", work by Campionesi masters, XII - XIII century.There are three carved scenes. Detail of one which represents the good judge crowned by an angel and a man in the act of supplication. In the other scene a judge is approached by a man carrying a bag and a barefoot man, pleading with his hands clasped.The inscription informs us that a crooked judge corrupted by money will give a judgment not in accordance with his conviction.
