Fidenza, Duomo (Cathedral of San Donnino), acroterion of the right portal: “Raimondinus vilis”, the Poor Raimondino. This figure is traditionally recognized as Saint Raimondino Zanfogni, called Palmerio, of Piacenza (1140 – 27 July 1200), a layman who was a pilgrim to the Holy Land (hence the nickname) and then to San Giacomo di Campo Stella. Returning to Piacenza, he assisted and defended the poor of his city and founded a hospital.
